Can You Really Tell Your Fortune Just by Feeling?

Hello everyone~ I’m constellight.com, here to share some recent thoughts about luck.

First, what state counts as good luck, and what state counts as bad luck?

In my personal view, for example, when you want to do something, as long as you’re willing to put in the effort and have the energy to commit, and ultimately achieve a satisfactory result, that can be considered a period of relatively good luck;

Conversely, if you want to do something, put in tremendous effort to accomplish it, but the results still fall short of expectations, or if you want to make an effort but lack the energy—just taking a little action already drains a lot of your strength, let alone achieving results—this, in my opinion, is a period of relatively low luck.

Can You Really Tell Your Fortune Just by Feeling?

Of course, to some extent, judgments about fortune may require setting aside subjective personal feelings first.

How to understand this? Take good fortune in work as an example. In the workplace, good fortune objectively leads to rapid promotions, salary increases, and ultimately earns recognition from others and personal satisfaction. However, during the process of achieving success, intense competition, exhaustion, and physical strain are common occurrences, and emotionally, it might not feel particularly pleasant.

Of course, this is closely related to the nature of the planets in your natal chart that aid your success. Some people rely mainly on Mars’ drive and Saturn’s accumulation to rise steadily through hard work; others depend more on Venus’ social resources and Jupiter’s luck and assistance from benefactors, soaring rapidly. Naturally, the former may not feel as smooth as the latter, but in the end, both can achieve what they desire, and both can be considered states of relatively good fortune.

On the other hand, periods of low fortune are relatively easier to identify. Whether influenced by auspicious or malefic planets, there is a sense of dissatisfaction. Mars and Saturn might keep someone busy but without tangible results, making it hard to rest due to real-life pressures. Venus and Jupiter might lead someone to indulge in pleasure, neglecting long-term interests, lacking motivation to act, and drifting aimlessly through each day, only to lament feelings of emptiness and confusion.

Most of the time, we can assess our current state by referring to the situations mentioned above. When luck is on our side, it’s natural to rise to the challenge and be more proactive; when luck is low, we must learn to maintain balance, accumulate more, and strengthen self-control.

I’ve experienced how people in a low phase often struggle to find direction, with few opportunities around, feeling tempted to slack off or indulge. But once you become aware of it, there’s a chance for change. For example, if your current cycle makes you want to withdraw and avoid people, but you realize that engaging with others is beneficial, you can then make a judgment and choice: whether to continue distancing yourself or step out—neither is inherently right or wrong. Of course, choosing to step out at this time will require much more effort than it would during a favorable cycle. Another example: if you want to make quick money but currently lack luck in speculative gains, the willpower needed to resist opportunistic behavior will be far greater than when you weren’t even tempted to speculate in the first place.

It’s important to understand that luck won’t always be good, nor will it always be bad. Within certain limits, people can mobilize their own initiative. Don’t get too carried away during highs, and don’t give up on yourself during lows—this is why I wanted to talk about luck.
